TradeVault is an online marketplace that connects customers seeking trade services with qualified and verified trade professionals ("Tradies"). We facilitate connections but are not a party to any agreements between customers and tradies.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Types
- Customer accounts for those seeking trade services
- Tradie accounts for verified trade professionals
- Each account type has specific features and responsibilities
3.3 Account Cancellation - 30 Day Notice Requirement
Trade professionals must provide 30 days written notice to TradeVault before cancelling their account. This notice period ensures:
- Completion of any ongoing jobs or quotes with customers
- Proper handover of active customer communications
- Settlement of any outstanding payments or fees
- Maintenance of service quality for customers who have purchased leads
During the 30-day notice period, tradies remain responsible for responding to existing leads and maintaining professional service standards. Subscription fees continue during this period. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in penalties or restrictions on future platform access.
4. Verification Process
All trade professionals undergo a comprehensive verification process including license verification, insurance checks, and background screening. However, customers should still exercise due diligence when selecting service providers.
5. Service Fees and Payments
5.1 Lead Fees
Tradies pay fees for accessing customer leads. Fees vary by service category and are clearly displayed before purchase.
5.2 Subscription Plans
Premium subscription plans offer additional features and benefits. Subscription fees are billed according to the selected plan terms.
5.3 Refund Policy
Refunds may be available in specific circumstances as outlined in our refund policy. Lead fees are generally non-refundable once contact information is provided.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1 Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
- Respond to tradie inquiries in a timely manner
- Treat all service providers with respect and professionalism
6.2 Tradie Responsibilities
- Maintain current licenses and insurance coverage
- Provide accurate quotes and service information
- Complete work to professional standards
- Communicate professionally with customers
7. Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from:
- Providing false or misleading information
- Attempting to circumvent the platform for direct contact
- Engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Harassing or discriminating against other users
- Violating intellectual property rights
8. Limitation of Liability
TradeVault acts as a facilitator between customers and tradies. We are not responsible for the quality of work performed, disputes between parties, or any damages arising from services provided through the platform. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Australian law.
9. Dispute Resolution
While we encourage direct resolution between parties, TradeVault may provide mediation services for disputes. Serious issues should be reported through our platform for investigation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the TradeVault platform remain the property of TradeVault or respective owners. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
11. Privacy and Data Protection

12. Termination
12.1 Tradie Account Cancellation
Trade professionals wishing to cancel their account must provide 30 days written notice to TradeVault. Notice must be submitted through the platform's account settings or via email to support. The 30-day period begins from the date notice is received and confirmed by TradeVault.
12.2 Obligations During Notice Period
During the 30-day notice period, tradies must:
- Continue to respond to all existing leads and customer inquiries
- Complete any quoted jobs or provide proper notification to customers
- Maintain active subscription and pay applicable fees
- Uphold all platform standards and professional conduct requirements
12.3 Customer Account Termination
Customer accounts may be terminated at any time without notice requirements.
12.4 Platform-Initiated Termination
TradeVault reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities, without the 30-day notice requirement.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by Australian law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
14. Changes to Terms
TradeVault reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
